Project Overview
TANSHEQ provided environmental, social, valuation and resettlement services for a coal mining development associated with Edenville Energy’s licensed coal resources in western Tanzania.
TANSHEQ’s Role
Conducted ESIA, stakeholder consultation, baseline and alternatives assessment, impact mitigation and monitoring planning, and valuation of affected crops, buildings, trees, land and other developments for compensation and RAP preparation.

Supported the project’s environmental and social planning and compensation framework for development of the coal mining operation.
