Project Overview
TANSHEQ was engaged to support the upgrading of the 260.6 km Kabingo–Kasulu–Manyovu road section through baseline data collection and monitoring of environmental, social and resettlement commitments.
TANSHEQ’s Role
Prepared pre-project situational analysis, developed lot-specific mitigation strategies, monitored consolidated ESMPs and the approved RAP, evaluated performance, supported community involvement, capacity building and land-use planning.
Key Outcome / Value Delivered
Provided environmental and social risk-management support across four project lots, including community and stakeholder engagement and oversight of mitigation and resettlement commitments.
